The Otter is the story of Roger Matterhorn (a.k.a., Rog'), a seaplane pilot in the Caribbean who escaped to the Virgin Islands to get away from a legal case gone bad. Rog's past catches up with him when he lands in San Juan to find that all of his passengers had been brutally murdered and he and his co-pilot were the only other people on the plane. This tragedy sets he and his beautiful and adventurous friend Jane off on a course that takes them both face to face with the conspiracy that almost killed him twenty years ago. The man behind it all is now running for President of the United States and Rog' is one of those "old scores" that needs to be cleaned up before the election or before Rog' is able to spread his story. In order to survive, Rog' needs to figure out who he can trust while escaping from a crooked island police force and a presidential candidate who wants him dead.
